Who it's for
Professionals
Nothing is wrong, exactly. Your work is solid, you're surrounded by people, your life looks fine on paper. And yet there's this sense of living slightly past yourself.
What you're running into
It all works — and still feels flat.
Your days are full and fly by. You do your job well, you handle what needs handling, and by evening you're too drained to want anything at all. Weekends are for recovering, holidays for repair.
Meanwhile something creeps in that's hard to name: performing without desire. You're busy, but not curious. You reach goals you never actually chose. Real life seems to happen just outside your calendar.
And when someone asks what you'd want if anything were possible, you draw a blank. That's often more unsettling than the busyness itself.
Creativity in your life
You're making your own life, whether you notice it or not.
Creativity isn't reserved for artists. It's the ability to shape something that wasn't there before — and you do that every day. In how you solve a problem, how you hold a conversation, how you set up your home, how you answer your kids, which route you take.
The catch: once everything runs on autopilot, choice disappears from those actions. You start executing your life instead of making it. The creative impulse is still there, but it has no direction, and so no satisfaction.
Creativity and expression aren't extras. They're the condition for a life that actually feels like yours.
When you're out of tune with it
What flattening does to you.
It rarely arrives with a bang. It arrives as a slow numbing: feeling less, wanting less, being surprised less. And then, at unexpected moments, a pang of longing for the person you used to be.
- You look forward to the weekend, then don't know what to do with it.
- Irritated by small things, unmoved by big ones.
- Evenings that disappear into screens without you choosing it.
- No motivation, but no good excuse to change anything either.
- A vague longing for who you were before everything had to work.
What coaching does here
Back to what you actually want.
We don't start with goals. We start with what's there: the emptiness, the busyness, the fatigue, and the desire underneath it that you usually rush straight past.
From there we look at which patterns have kept you in this life, and where there's room to do it differently. Not with one big break, but with real choices you make yourself — in your work, your time, in what you start letting back in.
Coaching here is an attentive conversation: slow enough to notice what's moving in you, concrete enough to actually do something with it.
Ways of working together
What the four ways of working look like for a professional.
Same formats, shaped around what's really at play for you: little time, a lot of responsibility, and a life that seems to happen alongside your job.
Breakthrough sessions
One or two conversations to unpack the flatness. Where has your energy leaked out, which decision have you been postponing for months, and what would happen if you finally made it? Compact, practical, easy to fit around work.
Tailored coaching journey
For when it doesn't stop at one insight. We work on the pattern underneath: performing for recognition, always being the responsible one, filing desire under 'luxury'. Four to eight sessions in which you choose again, step by step.
Artist's Way
Twelve weeks in which you reconnect with your creative side — no need to become an artist. Morning pages, weekly tasks and conversations that let you feel what you want, instead of what's expected.
Creative mentoring
For when something of your own is already trying to emerge: a business, a book, a side project, a different shape for your career. I'm your sounding board, for both the making and the practical side.
Curious what's underneath that flatness?
In a first conversation we look together at what's going on. No commitment — just getting acquainted.
Prefer to get a feel for it first? There's a free Friday morning drop-in at my home in Utrecht, every Friday between 9 and 11am — 20 to 30 minutes of talking things through, no strings attached.
